Use a bow to snipe the big crow across the canyon—when it charges toward you and falls off the cliff, you'll get around 11,000 runes instantly. Then rest at the Site of Grace and repeat. With a good rhythm, you can earn hundreds of thousands of runes per hour without much risk. If you haven't unlocked Mohgwyn Palace yet, you can get there by completing White Mask Varré's questline or by using a teleporter found in the Consecrated Snowfield. It's one of those farming methods that's almost therapeutic after a few tough fights. A quick arrow shot and a little timing send it falling off the cliff, netting around 13,000 runes per fall. You can chain this endlessly by resting at the nearby Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace. It's slightly less efficient than the Palace route, but for players who haven't unlocked that area yet, it's a great alternative. Console players in particular seem to love this one for its simplicity. Optimize Your Routes: Find a rhythm—clear, rest, repeat. Time your runs and see which spot gives you the most runes per minute. Stay Patient: Farming isn't meant to be exciting, but it's a great time to experiment with new weapons or builds while stacking up runes. Avoid Losing Runes: Always bank your runes by leveling up once you have enough. Nothing hurts more than watching 200k vanish because of one bad dodge. Farming runes might not be the flashiest part of Elden Ring, but it's absolutely essential for surviving some of the game's brutal encounters. Once you've got your favorite farming route down, you'll notice bosses that used to feel impossible suddenly become manageable. I'd still recommend balancing farming with exploration—it's easy to forget how much fun it is to stumble upon a new dungeon or NPC after hours of grinding.
